Joint film group on May 3

My Life.

This was the first joint film study effort by Congregation Shaarey Tefilla and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The topics of living life fully, family, community and forgiveness were discussed. Also, we compared the various Jewish and Orthodox Christian traditions concerning death, burial, and grieving.

The film was excellent and provided thought provoking issues to discuss with our guests. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to visit Shaarey Tefilla and discuss our commonalities. I hope more HT parishioners will participate in this wonderful outreach program and partake of the thought provoking theological discussions. The fellowship and breaking bread together also binds us.
